- Open the Annotation Application and select an Annotation Project to start annotating.
- You can any time export the annotation results in HTML, JSON and CSV for different uses.
- Add a new Annotation Project by connecting a Text Source Table to an Annotation Table and
by giving it a unique name.
- You must first create the Text Source Table and the Annotation Table and give them unique names.
- The Text Source Table must contain at least the original (ancient Greek or any other) texts that
is to be annotated.
- So, after its creation, you must import the original text through a JSON, CSV, XML or SQL file.
- By default, the Text Source Table contains:
- two fields for two original texts, in Greek and English
- two respective fields, named GreekHTML and EnglishHTML, for rendering the annotation results as
HTML on the original texts, to be desplayed in a website.
- From the Annotation Application, you can export in a JSON file the annotation results, rendered as HTML
separately on each original text,
and then import it into the corresponding HTML field of the Text Source Table.
- An editable list with all existing Annotation Project.
- You create an empty Annotation Table with a unique name separately for each Annotation Project.
- You create a empty Text Source Table with a unique name and default field names, separately for each Annotation
Project.
- You must then import the original tex(s) to be annotated, which presuposes that the import file must
contain identical field names.
- Alternatively, if you already have original text(s) in a table with other field names but compatible field
tyeps, you can define the correspondence of field names when adding a new Annotation Project. Then, you can use that table instead.
